New York City(NYC)

1.Is this the Icebreaker? The Broken Barrier? The one place where acceptance isn’t valued or subjected upon Class or Wealth?

2.Could this be the dark facade of the American dream, or just the American?

3.Is this the place where the “unreality of reality” comes to life, and if so, How?

4.Is NYC where people are blinded from the realizations between right and wrong? Where actions do not see consequence?

5.Is this where all the desire, lust, power, and money see no limitation?

Wolfsheim

Why is Wolfsheim the only one who attends the funeral?

If Wolfsheim is the only one who attends the funeral, he must know Gatsby well enough to know his family, but how does he not?

Why does Wolfsheim have molars on his cufflinks?

Why did Wolfsheim leave after Gatsby and disrespecting woman was brought up in the conversation between him and Nick?

Before he leaves, he says “you sit here and discuss your sports and your young ladies and your—“(72), why didn’t he finish the sentence, and what would he have said?
